Zzyzx uses an innovative process to make polymeric materials that cannot be made via conventional processing techniques. The company produces ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene (UHMWPE) for demanding applications, where improved physical properties or unique additives are required. Zzyzx also uses novel processing technologies to produce the toughest high-density polyethylene (HDPE) for demanding applications, and impact modifiers for polyethylene that increase toughness and other key properties without reducing rigidity.
