Lindsay is a Senior Invention Associate in the Innovation and New Ventures Office (INVO). She works with researchers at Northwestern to patent their innovative work and supports licensing and marketing efforts to promote the commercialization of new technologies. Lindsay manages a portfolio of intellectual property in the life science space, including therapeutics and research tools.
Additionally, Lindsay serves as a Research Navigator to bridge INVO with the Northwestern University Clinical and Translational Sciences (NUCATS) Institute based at the Feinberg School of Medicine (FSM). In this role, she works with investigators to advance the development of their technologies and connects them to opportunities and resources to foster the translation of FSM biomedical innovations to patients.
Lindsay completed her Ph.D. in Molecular Genetics at Northwestern as part of the Driskill Graduate Program and earned a B.S. in Biology from the University of Rochester. She performed postdoctoral fellowships at AbbVie and the University of Chicago. Prior to joining INVO, Lindsay worked as a Research Scientist at a Chicago-based biotechnology startup. Lindsay first joined INVO in 2023 as a Research Associate supporting Lakeside Discovery.
